041 Liechtenstein: Small country, small post :)

Liechtenstein

As we arrive there is a brass band playing, so of course we think it is for us! :) turns out it is a public holiday, Corpus Christie, and they are handing out free bread rolls.

It takes just under 1 hour to 'do' the capital - Vaduz. There is some very unusual art.

Along the main thoroughfare there are stamps in the pavement.

The private residence of the Royal Family - Castle Liechtenstein.

The view from our balcony is magnificent. It should be as we've paid the most we've ever paid for a room and it is the smallest one we've ever had and it is furnished similarly to a backpackers ski lodge!
Well that was Liechtenstein. Ridiculously expensive. Dinner: a main course each and a beer each cost $82 (Not 5 star / silver service). Thank goodness this is just a stop over.
